Humpback whales in Xavier

Two copies of humpback whales (Megaptera and Novaeanglia ) also known as humpback whale arched its way back before diving have been spotted off Cape San Antonio (Jávea).

This observation is very unusual if we consider that there have been only 15 times in the last 200 years throughout the Mediterranean. The daily

information, which contacted the Department of Environment whose technicians were watching and monitoring of these whales, in September were at about 900 mt from the sea swimming in the south, believe that the presence in this area is because it is a nature reserve with many small fish which it feeds.
